The counselor's place in the Body of Christ is to assist Christians in applying the Word of God and the enablement of the Holy Spirit to resolve specific kinds of difficult and long-term psychological, emotional, and family problems. The counselor helps the client to overcome the obstacles which prevent him from achieving the sanctified, abundant life that has been given us through Jesus Christ.

Dr. Troy Reiner is the founder and Director of Word of Life Counseling Center and Word of Life Institute. He holds a Master's Degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, a Specialist Degree in Family Therapy from Wichita State University, and a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling from LOGOS Graduate School. He is a Kansas State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a state certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Dr. Reiner has many years of experience as a Pastor, Bible Teacher and Counselor.
